João Rodrigues, was born in the Pearl of the Atlantic, the Madeira Island. He has been a successful windsurfer since the late nineties and has competed in 7 Olympic Games, with 3 world titles and 5 European titles in different windsurfing classes. He will be the Captain of the Portuguese Team. With is experience on and off the water, he will help the team to thrive, giving them the confidence and support to perform at their best.
